Which capsules does it work with?
It brews small Original-line size capsules (with the small-capsule adapter) and larger pod-style capsules (with the large-capsule holder). Check that your capsule matches one of these two sizes before ordering.
Can I use my own ground coffee?
Yes. Fill the included basket with fine, espresso-grind coffee, press the lid on, and brew. Coarser grinds give a weaker shot.
Does it heat the water itself?
Yes. Add cold or room-temperature water and double-click the button. The light flashes orange while it heats, then it brews automatically. Heating takes about 4–6 minutes depending on how cold the water is (manufacturer figure).
Can I use hot water to brew faster?
Yes. Add hot water and press and hold the button for 2 seconds. The light flashes green and extraction starts right away.
How many coffees per charge?
The manufacturer rates it at up to about 4 brews when heating cold water, or about 50 brews when you add water that is already hot. Real-world numbers vary with water temperature.
How do I charge it?
With the included USB-C cable. A full charge takes about 3–4 hours. You can charge from a wall adapter, power bank or car USB port.
How big is one shot?
The water tank holds 60 ml (about 2 fl oz) — a standard double espresso.
How do I clean it?
Run one cycle with fresh water and no coffee to rinse the inside. The adapters, basket and cup come apart and rinse under the tap.
Can I take it on a plane?
It contains lithium batteries, which airlines generally require in carry-on luggage rather than checked bags. Check your airline's rules before you fly.
Where do you ship and how long does it take?
We currently ship within the United States only. Orders ship in 1–3 business days, then take 7–12 business days in transit, so most arrive 8–15 business days after you order. You'll get a tracking number by email.
